Beginners sewing classes- New classes Start 2026 onwards! Buy as a gift🎁
VERY SMALL CLASSES ONLY 6 people! This course is ideal for beginners who would like to learn how to use a machine and get sewing! Throughout the course you will complete a Tote Bag and Zipped Box Pouch, you can carry on with a cushion or small item of clothing. You will learn key techniques required to sew and be able to take away patterns and handouts, so you are able to refer back to them. Machines are available to hire for free for the 6 week course. The course runs for 6 weeks from 7pm-9pm on a Monday evening at just £105 for 6 weeks. We can also do 1-1 during the day!

Advanced sewing classes
This course uses the skills taught in the beginners class. you will learn to make a garment from a pattern, In order to attend, you’d need to be confident on the sewing machine, have completed a few basic sewing projects or taken either our Beginners Sewing Course or equivalent elsewhere, some of the skills you will learn include:
- – How to insert a zip
- – How to sew darts
- – How to attach a neckline facing
- – How to finish armholes with bias binding
- – How to create and finish a hem and much more!
The course runs Mon and Tues evenings and tues and wed day 10.30 -.12.30. machines available to hire for free and £105 for 6 week course.

Kids sewing classes
Suitable for children age 8-13 all abilities. No equipment required. Learn how use a sewing machine! Make bags, cushions and lots more. Make new friends in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. All classes with a qualified Textiles teacher and CRB checked.
